Hi folks was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction here.have been offered a set of brembo brakes of an impreza, which are currently on a saxo which is being broken.
The first problem is,is that neither of us know what impreza it is off?but my mate has them on his saxo with 15inch alloys.I have the standard VTS alloys on my car but will i have a problem with them.?
Not a lot of info on dimensions of calipers or disks but if anyone could point me in the right direction or have a general idea what size this stuff comes in would be ace.cheers

some pictures might be a good idea dude,

also if they fit under his 15's i dont see a reason why they wont fit under your wheels aslong as you get everything off him e.g calipers, carries etc..

You'll need a braket to make them fit to the car. Also standard vts wheels struggle to take 266mm calipers, let alone the 4 pot impreza ones with 294mm disc.
You'll need some Oz racing alloys with a larger offset iirc.

vts wheels dont struggle with the 266 they fit under 14"s

you also wont need a bracket making up if they are already on a saxo

and if they are already on a saxo like you say, why not stick one of your wheels on your mates car to see if you can fit it over...

how do you know they are scooby ones?

If they are subaru 4 pot calipers it will say 'Subaru' on them.
I never said vts wheels struggle with the 266mm discs, its the calipers catching on the inside of the wheel.

ur talking bollacks fella 4 pot subaru brakes dont go under 15inch wheels as the discs are 296mm but the calipers catch on 15inch scooby wheels .
brembo subaru brakes are 325mm discs and only fit under 17 inch scooby wheels so would luv to see a pic of these fitted under 15 inch wheels

the 4 pots have subaru stamped on them
the brembos are normally gold with brembo in red

never ever heard of calipers catching with the 266, only ones ive heard of is brembos where they shave paint off

reason i asked how he knew it was scooby brakes was because ive never ever heard of them being on a saxo before, someone could just of said they are scooby without knowing and its gone on from there

you can actually fit 294mm discs & calipers under 15s, just not under vts wheels.

as for subaru brakes, they have a much wider bolt spacing so need brackets to fit, which presumably this other saxo has, providing they are subaru brakes...

its true 294mm discs will go under 15 inch wheels ,but subaru 4 pot calipers will not fit under 15 inch wheels no matter what brackets or spacers u use

Depends which wheels, standard subaru ones no, some 15" race alloys will take 300mm discs or bigger with chunky calipers.
