rocker cover gasket

i asked my mate to get me a rocker cover gasket for my vts as its starting to leak a little, he told me that its not a gasket they supply but a sealer (in a tube). just wondering if this is right

yeah sounds right to me, i know that the gti's use sealer so i presume a vts would be the same..

yea mate thats true. its like a black mastic make sure you get all the old stuff off first then seal it proply to save taking it off and re doing it.
