Hey guys :y:

Does anyone know of any good spyware removal tools that work ?.

I opened a youtube video on facebook and now im crawling with the shit :wall:

any help is really appreciated :y:

Only 3 I use and they work a treat :)

If its windows XP

1 download MS updates http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

2 download MS malicious software removal tool http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.aspx and run it

3 download MS download windows defender http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/defender/default.mspx and run it

4 Turn MS firewall on if its off http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/security/winfirewall.mspx

5 If all fails install XP a fresh http://support.microsoft.com/kb/316941

6 Or as PSPDan said, Try here (http://www.apple.com/uk/mac/)

7 Or better still try this http://www.sun.com/software/solaris/ or http://www.linux.com/

The ones i use are Spyware Terminator,Ad-AwareAE,Norton 360.

All steps may not be needed - i find that a sweep with "superantispyware" + "malwarebytes" usually does the job - in fact those are the only 2 programmes that would get rid of all of the malware on my sister in laws desktop!!

Try MalwareBytes, spywareBlaster, SpywareGuard, Spybot S+D, SuperAntiSpyware.

Not really chufter. You dont get spyware/viruses all that jazz that you do with Windowze with a Mac.

that is totally useless info, if someone asks how to get rid of spyware buying a Mac isnt really a viable option is it.

as said above spyware search and destroy is very good and what i have been using for years.
