View Full Version : Important! : saxo 1.5 diesel no fuel in hoses?

ok i have changed my gearbox on my saxo which 1 bolt was so hard 2 get 2 i had 2 take the plastic plug off the bottom of the fuel filter fuel came out but it started up fine... had a problem with the gear box took it all apart again back together now more fuel leeked out no more than what had previously started with a misfire left it to sort itself out nothing changed but now there is no fuel in hoses at all i tryed bleeding it through and it started again but now it has no fuel in pipes at all and bleeding wont do anything.. what am i doin wrong??

Blocked filter? Possible fuel pump failure (maybe fuse) Not too sure on diesels!!

fuel lift pump is built into injector pump on pug/cit diesels, has it got one of the "squeezy ball" primers on it?

yes it has we used the manual pump and a pipe on the bleed nut and sucked fuel through it didnt taste nice but fuel is deffonatly getting that far

ok thanks il have a look but when i unscrewed the plastic cap off the filter all the fuel came out so im guessing its not blocked? thats the only thing i touched as i was only doing the gearbox so should all be fine? il check fuses and stuff tho thanks :)
