My car failed to start a month ago after it had no use for about 2 weeks!
I jumped the car and used it every 3/4 days and it was working fine until i didnt use it for about 10 days.

I tried to start my car but it barely had any power, the lights on the dashboard barely showed up and it barely made any noise/attempt to even start the car.

Is it time to buy a new battery or is it something else?

could be alternator.borrow another battery from another car, dads, mums etc start then check with a voltmeter the alternator output.should be between 13-14v.if lower then 13 id say you need a new alternator.

why not use a common and sense and actually fault find properly what the problem is.
It may be because the battery but it could also be something else.why not rectify a problem properly.

That's why I'm asking on here. Majority seem to be going for a new battery and I heard they were extremely cheap. Surely it would still cost me a few quid to get it tested?

Will test with another battery as people have said thnx :)
