Heater and rear heated window not working

Hi guys I have no heater in my saxo vts and no rear heated window, the PAS is working fine. I have tryed to look for the 2 brown wires under the steering cowling but can only see the 2 red. Am i missing something and how can I sort the problem if I dont have the brown wires to bridge?

very strange that your power steering is running fine and the heater and rear heated window isn't, are you sure pas is working fine?

yeah PAS works spot on, Thought it might be the problem with the ignition barrel,i just cant find the 2 brown wires to bridge

try the block fuse at the passenger side you should have a black 1 and a yellow 1 it,s the black 1 take it out and give it a clean

Never had the black block fuse. and the Heaters worked fine for years?

Just checked the wires again. Ther are 2 brown wires but not together like in the picture in the faq section. 1 is with a white wire and the other is with a blue. Do I have to bridge these 2 brown wires, I don't want to go cutting wires that I don't need to.

Im starting to think someone else might have already had ago at this and thats why I cant find the bloody stupid wires. Has anyone any ideas, its getting pretty cold in the morning and I dont fancy freezing my bollocks off.:wall:

all fuse are OK, nothing blowen. This black rel;ay is it in the passaneger footwell with the fuses or under the bonnete next to the passanger wing?

After much head scratching, swearing and cups of tea, I am now giving up on finding the elsuive brown wires to bridge. Instaed I am just going to replace the ignition. The question now is how big/easy of a job is this, will it be ok to source the part from a scrappy or do I need to buy new? Whats the deal with the key code etc?
