Hi.
Had my VTS rolling roaded again yesterday down in Plymouth and it made 124.7Bhp and 115lb/ft torque with a Raceland Manifold, Magnex decat and a Magnex cat back. Really nice power curve through the revs and an improvement on the 122.9Bhp it was rolling roaded at on the same rollers last year. Works out at bang on 100Bhp at the wheels.
Mate of mine put his series one 106 Rallye on and it made 121.8Bhp! It's been fully rebuilt with a 1.6 bottom end, PH2 Newman and breathing mods. A very nice power figure considering it's unmapped!
All in all a good day. When modding your engine it's deffo worth rolling roading it as you add more and more mods to see what difference they made.
*awaits 'should be 140Bhp with breathing mods etc etc' lol*

Speed: 81mhp @ 6991 rpm
Power: 123.8 @ 6440 rpm
Torque: 108 ft-lbf @ 5239 rpm
That was on my 2001 VTS, so not bad considering everything else is standard apart from the exhaust.

Aye I was pleased with the results. Gained 4lb/ft of torque and 1.8 Bhp from a Magnex cat back lol. Yeah man, was Alan Jeffery's. Decent set of rollers and knowledgeable bloke! Good times.

your run was done in 3rd giving a false reading.
a vts pulling 6.9k in 4th is doing 110mph id ask for it to be done again in 4th and it will probably drop a little

Sounds alright to me. 100 bhp at the wheels is nice.
Works out at bang on 100Bhp at the wheels.
It wont 'work out' at 100bhp though, that IS your power, the flywheel figure is then calculated from that. Not the other way round :)
Wheel figures are all you should be interested in tbh, everything else is just pub talk ;)

how much on average does it cost ?

About £25-£30 depending on how many cars go and how many runs you want. Makes a good day out if there's a few of you there and it's a decent set of rollers such as Alan Jeffery's.

Its not really a false reading, as long as the losses are removed from the end figure.

i thought they had to be done in 4th as it is closest to 1-2-1.

131.7bhp

de-cat
powerflow exhuast
piper induction kit (needs to go)
my mates vts also got rolling roaded
completly standard 110k on clock only been on the road for a month after being sat on his drive for 4months and he got 115bhp which i thought wasnt bad considering milage
