Can somebody explain what exactly a turbo is, I know it makes a car faster but don't know exactly what it is or how it works / fitted .. etc......

plugs into cigarette lighter and makes the engine think it is double its size by making the metal soft and expanding the cylinders...

fitted by builders adhesive and a 2lb hammer, also you need a LR valve and a EM lead to make it work properly...will cost 5.99 and a tube of builders adhesive is about 7 quid...sure you can borrow a hammer

lol please correct me if im wrong anyone but a turbo is driven by exhaust gases, it has two wheels one is a turbine (sits in the exhaust system) and the other is a compressor wheel. Once the exhaust gases get the turbine spinning it causes the compressor wheels to also spin.This pulls air up a pipe into the inter cooler (big radiator basically) this cools down the air making more dense and then from the pusshing it into the engine. So think of it being a really really good induction kit. smileys/smiley17.gif
