OMP Strut brace with JP4 cam covers

Hi,

I have just got some JP4 cam covers and I think I remember seeing somewhere the OMP top strut brace will not fit with them. Anyone got both?

Would be nice to know as my mate has just powdercoated my omp brace black for me:oops:

wont fit, jp4 covers rub on a mk1 bonnet so you wont get a strut brace and covers in

Do they rub on a mk2 bonnet as well? I have another plan for the strut brace so not a worry.

not sure on mk2 but it would still be too tight, you could just remove the centre cover

Me personally Id loose the strut brace anyways. Not really noticed a difference with it on or not!

Lower one however is a great addition.

get a roll cage which goes through to the strut tops.

or dont get an omp strut brace, but get like a sparco one that doesnt come as far forward :y:

Unfortunately I have got 2 omp braces (dont ask). I have got a lower one, so thats fine and it now looks like I will have a red and a black one for sale soon.
