Been looking around the internet and found a few companys that just set up a space in a car park and offer valets/exterior wash.

Is this legal? Do you need to have like a permit or something like that?

Any help would be great as I think it's a good idea.

i would imagine you would need at the least the permission from the owners of the car park. and i would imagine many other things also

Dont think thats legal at all mate, its private land for a start and i think you only have the right to park there, not set-up a temporary buisness lol

but if you got permission from the supermarket themselves? only thing I can think of that you might need is a trading lisence?

don't know who to ask about it either

well tescos by me do it but the bloke who does the washing has to pay tescos a certain amount to use the carparks.
plus i;d say u'd have to be insured for those just incase circumstances

yeh the ones in aberdeen get 4 parking bays on the second floor. they always seem to be busy. wouldn't let them do my car though as i have never seen their method.

but at this time of year it would make a fortune.( £7 a car i think.)

nah they use really bad products, I wouldnt use them either. There is a place in inverness charging £35 for an exterior wash only.

Yeh i make sure i park on the third floor away from them lol
£35? do many people take up that offer? people who see their cars as cars wouldnt pay that much. would they?

you wouldnt believe how many people use them its crazy. They have 4 workers each doing atleast 3 cars per hour. Using a sponge and only 1 bucket of water which isnt changed at all during the wash. People dont realise that letting them clean there car is doing more damage. and its an extra £5 to put in a sachet of wax in with the bucket lol

u gotta think everyone who parks n tescos. single women older women these are the people who'll pay the £5 to wash exterior theres about 15-20 trolleys washings cars and none of them are short of 300quid a week i reckon
