the amp i have atm is a 14.4v supply
the one i want to get is 12.5v supply

whats the diff will i need to change anything =/

thats where they have got there max power ratings from.
the 14.4v is the engine running with the alternator pushing up voltage
the 12.5v is the engine switched off
both are the same voltage amps its just to tell you where they make the peak power its all marketing bulls++t you see a higher figure gets you to buy it.
makes me laugh how you see 1600w sub lol put 500w rms through it see how long its lasts.
