Came to start my car today in the frost, started first time. Put the hot air fans on full (which i do most days without any problem) and about 2 mins later fans stop working entirely. About 5 miles later the battery light came on but the car was running fine.

Do you reckon its just a blown fuse or something else?

Really?!

Theres no other fault on the car, the rest of the electrics work fine and the engine runs fine. Just no fans and the battery light being on.

its the alternator. have you checked your rear window demister too?
these stop working when the battery is not giving the car enough power. I think it needs to be 13v. you need to search though as this has been answered so many times before
