Anything from 70k to 100k is normal.

Depends what Make the clutch is aswell and how you drive.

Valeo last as said above.

Transmech last a day or two, literally!

my old vts only made 70k from new. been told town cars is 60-75k.
motorway 80-100k

Well my old sax lasted like 94k and was still good

my dads car is on 240,000+ miles and still on its original clutch

The actual friction plate and pressure plate should last ages about 100k

Chances are though the release bearing will probablies go way before that, and whilst the gearbox is off you may aswell replace with a clutch kit for piece of mind

Mine is at 105,000 and for the first 40 thou I used it as a driving school car.

Yeah my mates took the gear box apart and found the release bearing had fcuked up so im getting my clutch replaced aswell as my release bearing, hopefully it should hold now for a good long while.

lol i had a new clutch about 6k ago, boy racer style driving has caused the bit to be so high now that my foot almost comes off the clutch before the bite

if you rag it around and wheel spin like most I see driving saxos do I would give it 10k

around 70,000 on the gfs and the one we fitted to replace it lasted about an hour lol

My saxo vtr mk2 has 64k miles and the clutch is perfect. My mates saxo vtr mk1 done 135k miles and his clutch still perfect and never been replaced. Depends how you drive really.

can anyone suggest a decent clutch? mine is slipping (on74k from new) and i would like to replace it with something decent tbh

i got 89k out of myn n the bearing was going so replaced with a clutch kit lets see how long this one lasts haha

Get a standard saxo one with low milage from ebay, or scrappy and you can pick them up cheap.
