Thanks for the pic Kev smileys/smiley17.gif mmm im not sure about the colour code. what does everyone else think? im leanin towards keepin the black bits, but only problem is some of them are lookn a bit shoddy, whats the best way to smooth down any imperfections and get it lookin proper black agen?

use some back to black but the cust seams to stick to it
i found before mine was colour coded that wd40 was the best non greasy perfect......
click me (http://www.wd40jobsite.com/secret_search.cfm?c=6&q=&imageField.x=12&imageField.y=10) for loads of ways to use wd40 on your car lol

Thanks woodsy, quite a few interestin things it can b used for on there. what would u recommend for smoothing the imperfections on there? also theres a few small areas where a bit of yellow paints made a slight overspray onto the black, Back to Black wudnt cover this before.
got a week to decide what to do before it goes off to have the work done

rubbing compound works for me
when i had mine coded the body shop used super glue to stick my vts badges back on ......dicks
noticed that some ran down the fresh paint so the just wiped the glue leaving a smudge on there
gently rubbing compound paste brought it off

cheers for the job on photoshop kev. definately think u and baz have the right thoughts about colour coding tho. ill get the strips back upto scratch in black and stuff. what bout the mirrors? they cud do with being yellow perhaps, the standard plastic black looks a bit dull sometimes, perhaps its just cuz it needs a wash.

if you had the standard mirrors on you could have got yellow caps for them...but you don't so..would keep them black...

id say dont do it untill you are 100%.....nothing to stop you booking it in at a later date if you decide you want it doing
