I think 34 is the cut off point mate.
You may have been Lucky or Unlucky, just wait and see what comes through the letter box.

I'm sure you'll be fine at that speed - taking into account the speedo error and then the speed camera was prob set at 40 as the limit for catching people.

it won't be set at 40 as not all speedo's have the error some are calibrated or extremely accurate such as my midget's one is about +-0.5mph. they are normally set at 43mph but technically they can set them to 41mph. ;)
well thats what they are down here. ;)

Each force enforce different limits. A lot of forces work off 10% + 2mph. So going by that you would be fine. But some are stricter. Don't forget though if you have bigger diameter tyres you will actually be going faster then the indicated speed. Even if you do get fined its not the end of the world. Just drive a little more sensible and future and your fine. Even on a provisional you can get 6 point and on a full its 12 if I recall correctly. So plenty of leeway.

If you dont hear anythin after 3 weeks i think, then your fine. Normally they give a percentage allowance on top of the speed limit, so you might get lucky.

around my area its 10% + 4mph.
bearing in mind at 34 on my saxo speedo im actually doing 30 so its actually nearer 45 on the speedo around by me to get done in a 30
if that was 34 to your speedo, providing it doesn't under-read (some can) you'll be fine mate.
your ring piece will remain in-tact

The police have 14 days to send you a NIP from the date of the offence, so just wait a couple of weeks. If you hear nothing, count yourself lucky.

If your doing between 33mph and 39mph iirc you may get offered a driving awareness course.
I got caught a couple of months ago by a van doing 47mph in a 30mph zone and I'm going on a special young drivers awareness course and getting no points. I consider myself lucky tbh, and have learnt my lesson!

Our lass did the same but she had to do the course in the couty she was speeding in, so she had to drive back down to middlesbrough which cost as much as the fine and extra insurance.
She said it was basically telling you if you hit a kid at 30, hell be shithot. 32 and hes a dead man.

And I got four points and a £100 fine for doing 48mph in a 30mph zone... nice. That was back in 2002 though.

Going to/from the Bagshot direction? That little stretch of road where the crossing is quite dangerous and so doing 47mph there is quite dangerous... with the local shops, the railway line, the supermarket, the zebra crossings, etc... And the ghey speed camera just up the A30 near the bus stops.
