Hi everyone.

I'm new here so if this is the wrong place please feel free to move it.

I'm looking at getting a vts once I've sold my focus. I just had a couple of questions. I've seen people talk about Mk1 and mk2.

What exactly are the differences?
Also when was the mk2 released?
How would I spot a mk2? Do they look any different?

Can someone post pictures of both mk's please. I've looked online but can't seem to find any (not that I really know what I'm looking for!)

Cheers!
Adam

Completly different front ends (bonnet, headlights etc etc)

Different rear spoilers,

Mk2 vtr has different engine to mk1...more powerful iirc

Different interior styles.

as the pictures above really mate, mk1 is alot squarer and aggressive looking and the mk2 has a more softer, rounded front ended.. here are 2 Piston heads links to show differences between the 2

Mk1;http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1379074.htm

Mk2; http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1384325.htm

also the VTR in mk1 form has 89bhp but the mk2 has 98bhp

the early mk2 vtr still has the 90bhp engine in it they didnt change it straight away.

thats right, only the later mk2's got the silvertop engine as opposed to the blacktop of the earlier one :)

Is the vts the one with 120bhp? Or is that the vtr?
