basically, i fitted my monoblock amp to power my sub yesterday, i plan on fitting a less powerful amp too power the speakers. but just with the 1 amp it makes my interior light dim, and the headlights dim a little when i really crank it up.
what would be the best option to stop this? the 3 options i can think of is:

1: fit a better battery (optima yellow top or similar)

2: fit a second cheaper battery in the boot

3: fit a power cap in the boot

i do plan on upgrading "the big 3" when i fit the second amp, will this help?

cheers for any advice

I wouldnt bother with the powercaps mate.

I'd go for the uprated battery if it was me, that will be fine.

Saves messing about putting one in the boot.

New battery mate. Just go to a place that sells batterys and get the biggest that will fit in the battery tray.

ok, cheers for the advice lads. so in your opinion the largest "heavy duty" battery will do, no need to pay out for a yellow top or anything?

yellow tops are only for crazy power mate, just any heavy duty battery should do :y:
