Hi guys well as some of you know I aint got a saxo but a liner. I want to run an onboard computer so I can do multy camera angles and also so I can run digial guages from it to read the sensors on the car i.e lambda and so on so I can fine tune the car later on when I get it back from the bodyshop.

im sure some of you have built onboard computers for your saxo's but at a lose here as I dont know if I should just mount a mini note book laptop in the car or actually build a mini pc and wire it to my JVC in dash dvd screen!

what would you do? and also where is hte best place to buy parts.

Pics of peoples installs would be great just to give me an idea on sizes.

Regards
Martin

the problem with netbooks is the lack of processing power, im not saying you need a supercomputer but most netbooks are optimised for battery life and have tiny screens! You may be best off getting a screen put in and putting a pc in the boot or under the seat as then, ok, its hardly portable but it theoretically takes up less room and gives you more options!
