xbox vs ps3 game wise

Tbh people i think i made a c*ck up when i went out and brought a ps3 im a crash your car in to anything motherfooker and basically ps3 lacks any games that do this good except GRID.

On the outher hand xbox has Flatout , Crash etc witch point more in the direction of my type of game.

Is there any demo derby / banger racing games coming out for ps3.

Try one of the motorstorm games pacific rift is ok then theres dirt 2. demos are on the store if youve signed up online

Everyone who has a PS3 will say PS3 and same with xbox owners, me personally i only like it because of gran turismo, plus i got it free with my last phone deal so i dont really care

Forza Motorsport 3 is awesome for simulation and also crashing, and now incoorperates the rewind feature like Grid. Obviously Forza is Xbox only, but does Grand Turismo have damaged enabled? Never thought it did.. i might be wrong though.

Maybe Testdrive Unlimited? dont know if that's available on both consoles though.

That may be true, however, everyone with a PS3 and an XBOX 360, like me, will say the xbox! :P

i have ps3, but kinda wish i went 360 tbh. theres much more choice of decent games

At the end of the day, i think it's much down to which games you prefer, and which console your friends use.

I have a 360 and my mate has a PS3. I prefer the games like Forza 3, Halo etc but to be honest they're generally bringing out decent games on both platforms now.

My mate likes PSN being free, but we find that it's harder to get a game on PSN and i find more people piss about on PS as it's free. If you have to pay for a service, you generally use it properly and get less people messing about.

A pro for the PS3 is the web browser, but tbh if you have a laptop with a HDMI socket, there's not much point with the PS3 as you have to use the controller for typing, which can take forever.. unless you have a PS3 keyboard..in which case you might aswell use your laptop.

Also there's the Blueray player on PS3.. i think we watched 1 blueray disc on his playstation, which was awesome..but we dont get the use out of it.

I also find my xbox is noisier whilst running than the PS3.

With regards to faults/bugs etc i have had the xbox for a few years, and recently got lumbered with the RROD. I contacted microsoft and they arranged a courier for whenever was convienient for me and they sent it to germany, where they repaired it for free and sent it back..all within a week. I could also track the progress through their website. Faultless!


My mate's PS3 froze during COD:MW2 and we couldnt get it to read discs last week. Hes had it just over a year. PS wouldnt do anything so he has just forked out for a new PS3 slim and flogged the broken one for peanuts.

To be fair, both have their faults and perks, but it's down to which your friends have IMO.
If my xbox went up the swanny I'd rather get the new Elite rather than the playstation.

The new gran turismo apparently will have damage if the game actually ever comes out but its not meant to be very good im in the process of getting rid of my ps3 to get an xbox i definately think they are the way forward

Played on an xbox and tbh didnt like it, infact im sure the ps3 has better stuff inside of it to make bette graphics
