door hinges

got a 2001 saxo...last month the passanger door weld (to the door piller)hinge cracked and started to come off.....now the drivers door is doing the same............is it a comon problem......?

seems to be a common problem, mine has done the same on the passenger side except mine has completly detatched now, I took my car to a body shop and have been quoted 50 quid to have it put right without it being painted afterwards.
