try bleeding the cooling system, theres an air lock in it somewhere. can also be a symptom of failing head gasket but my first port of call would be bleeding it.

^ agreed, when i had it on one of my old saxos, it was an early warning that head gasket was going to go, month or so later, it did :(

as i said, an air lock, thing is the air has to come from somewhere and can be gases escaping via the head gasket into the cooling system.

I've got the same thing and I have to bleed and refill my system every few days.
I'll be doing the HG after Christmas.

I had 2 week warning with this then HG went, get it done before you get stuck somewhere fella. Its not a massive job really, just take your time. Ebay is a good source for gasket kit and headbolts. Also I got a service kit from there as well quite cheaply (oil/air/fuel filter/ plugs) and got oil and antifreeze locally. Cost under £100 including parts and skimming and took 2 days to do. I cleaned up the engine bay, painted rocker cover at the same time etc. Every cloud has a silver lining mate!

I'd love to do it right now, but I can't really afford it at the moment, plus I need it to get to work etc.
