drill the heads off the torx screws and then extract the remains of the screw, usually once the head is off it release the tension on the screw thread and they are pretty easy to get out with an eezy-out or such like.

i was thinking of this but the problem is the car has sat still on grass for the last 3 years and i just recued it, i have allready had to weld and 11 inch patch on the sill and i fear that the bolt will be rusted in pretty well?

if you're worried about that then you really need to worry about the torsion bars being rusted into the splines! could drill the heads off and get the bar out and work on the remains of the screw on the bench or take it to an engineering shop and let them get it out.

i've got a puller that works in the same way as the socket and bolt method, lashings of wd40, put a bit of tension on the puller, if it doesn't move, walk away, let wd do its stuff, go back and wind a bolt into the thread on the opposite end of the bar to the puller and try a few hammer blows, then see if puller works, repeat until it shifts!
