I removed my rear seats and seatbelts and am refitting them soon, although my seatbelts have wound up and have locked.

ive heard of a tool that unwids them but cannot find it.

can anyone help me find it please?

thanks for your help :)

Usually you have to open them up mate. It's a pain in the arse.

try bolting them back on the mounting point. they are weighted and work at a certain angle.

oh really, so if theyre at the angle on the bolts they should just come free?

yeah i had the same problem. put them back on the mounting point and line the dimple/dent up then bolt them tight. the belt should then move.

its easier to take the covers off and pull them out, then re-fit them, thats what i found anyway, its not too hard tbh matey

When they wind too far in then they lock up. You need to undo the side that has the mechinism in, not the coil. The release the ball bearing and undo the belt.
