Although not a saxo problem im hoping someone here could shed somelight.

Few weeks back i got a oil/oil filter and spark plugs change, no as soon as i turned over the negine it was running lumpy as fell only 3 cylinders (Maybe). anyway i replaced the spark plugs twice and the leads once and no change. so i found out that the coilpack wsnt sparking cylinder number 4. i got this changed yesterday. The car drives a bit better and once warmed it still drive slightly better ok but STILL NO POWER. what symptoms can a blocked cat induce. how can the cat be blocked all of a sudden, and does this sound like a blocked cat.

When i put the foot down the whole car judders. once took off the car still judders until i change gear. if i lightly feather the throttle and i mean lightly so i dont pick up speed its smooth.

Any ideas from resident mechanics lol

does it sound like a blocked cat, sticky valve or what not.

MK1 mondeo BTW

Did you set the spark plug spacing correctly?

if the cat is collapsed the car will choke itself into stalling no matter how far down your foot is

yeah the gaps were allready set at 1.0mm. i thought it would only choke if fully collapsed if there was still a gap for gasses to escape would it still not run???
