Saxo VTR vs Rover 216 16v

Just wondering who would win a race out of these two cars,
I have a KandN kit and quad exhausts (powerflow)

My mate has a rover 216 16v with a shit air filter and no exhaust

The rover might be quicker. I'm sure the 1.4 16 valve pushes out around 110 bhp.
Not sure bout the 1.6 though.

The saxo is lighter as well, but if anything, your k&N induction kit will probably be loosing you power rather than ganing any.

Why is that

Nah the 1.6 16v pushes out 110bhp, the 1.4 is less than 100 bhp

Should I get rid of my induction kit then

The 1.4 16 valve thats in that daft Mg/rover ZS thing is 110bhp.


If your induction kit is the one i'm thinking of then it will be sooking up warm air from inside the engine bay rather than cool air from the front. That's why the standard equiptment had the scoop in front of the slam panel.
