Remote Line

hi.. ive set up my amp and sub got all the other wires in right places but im wondering where the remote line goes in my head unit(JVC kd-g441 HU), there is a blue and white wire in the loom on the back of the hu. do i connect them together or is it another way?

normally a solid blue wire but it isnt uncommon for lesser units to have a single white line running down
