I personally think america have got it best when it comes to sports i love the way its all set up with a proper system to bring players through college & into the pros. American football is my fave then baseball then ice hockey. my teams are:
NFL - Baltimore Ravens
MLB - San Francisco Giants
NHL - Anaheim Ducks

American sport as a way of life is far superior to here, mind you having the infostructure to pack 80k+ people into a college game helps.
NHL rocks, i would loved to have played ice hockey when i was a kid, a nice fast paced high skill game with big hits.
Ill watch most yank sport, the only annoying thing is the tv scheduling and adverts - mind this helps players earn £££

Gotta love college football only just got into it this year (oregon ducks fan) but how amazing is it that its probably bigger than the pro game much more explosive aswell i wish it was like that here but we have no idea how to develop sports

It helps having money, even at high school level theres money involved. Sport in america is big business, the car park bbq sessions with the family/mates etc.. are a way of life. People are very passionate here they just want to watch xfucktard.
Collegiate level the coaches are paid serious money to, here we have most of our high level amateur sport based on coaches self funding for love. The lack of infostructure and professional coaches is why we suffer at most sports.
