Anybody here into it? I started about 3 months ago, and I love it. I've only been to Milton Keynes dome but it's so much fun.

Only been a few times but quite enjoy it. Cant stay on the board for very long though lol.

Haha me either. I usually eat shit at the bottom of the slope. It doesn't hurt though, so it's all good.

Have done it since i was 7 every year in adorra, pyrenees. Have gone through, beginner, intermediate and expert snowboard schools, but they bore me now. Got my own board and boots too :)

You should try it. It's amazingly fun. I thought I'd suck but I'm not that bad lol. Considering you're only 5 mins away. Get your ass down there. You could park your horse out the front ;)

Im hopefully going to start next year,,as i work for a skate,snow/ski,fashion company,so this time of year we have our ski/snow dept up and running so i know alot bout it on the product/knowledge side,and some of my collegues have been out on seasons to Whistler,Canada and say its quality and have lived out there,,so hopefully ill have a bash next year and go down tamworth/Milton keynes and see how it goes:y:

I'm gonna stick to MK but I imagine I'll try Tamworth at some point. Got my new bindings today too. They look so nice on my board :).

tamworth is pretty wank tbf, but im guessing its because im used to the reall places. i live like 10 mins from tamworth snowdome

My mate is a skier. He loves boarding though, totally different according to him. Nice change though. You should definitely give it a try man.

im a skiier, have been since about age 8. got 1 lesson at the cairngorms and was doing red runs that day. some people are good at maths, some people are good at football....mines is skiing.

I got snowboarding lessons a few years ago. Thought it was good but no where near are fun as skiing.

ive been to france and switzerland for the last 6 years.

love it

iv been boarding for a couple of years, went to andorra last feb for a long weekend, going for a week this feb too :)

been going for years
3x meribel (which i belive is the 2nd largest ski area in the world)
3x andorra
1x tignes

best thing ever, i love just going as fast as possible, also a nice blizzard to board in is quite mint.

going to whistler in jan, and it was the snowiest november theyve had on record, over 5.5 meteres of snow so far

Can't get the hang of boarding, I can turn one way but not the other lol! Don't like leaning forward. Love skiing though, it's awesome, but I need to wear glasses rather than goggles, folk look daft in goggles!
