right then
basically a mate asked if i can bodge his head unit so he can fit whatever one he feels like as its had the plugs hacked off and chocolate block used :S
so im planning on getting an adapter loom for it and using the plugs
but im retarded at wiring so need a proper idiots guide for it if possible
like as in the blue wire goes to here and the red wire here style
im crap at wiring stuff back together but need to learn somehow lol

any one can point me in the right direction (or even do me a quick one) i will love
ill be doing it at the weekend i think
so have a week to gather the info

cheers guys

i did a guide ages ago for it, after a quick search it's got lost :(

it is in the owners manual though, as to what wires do what / go where

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/peugeot-chrysler-wiring-adaptor.html

this may be of some use

alex are you any good with a multimeter?

if so, find your perm live, ignition live and ground first..

then with the rest if its a simple headunit just find your speaker wires (best way to do this is a crackle test where you get an AA battery and attach a wire each end with tape, touching 2 wires like this will make the speaker crackle if its the correct pair..

pm me on here or shed if your lost and i will write it out when i have more time :p

in mine ive done away with the the power plugs that were in it and put a cable in direct from the battery through the bulkhead to the sterio.

two connections

one is for power another speakers

red - live
yellow - switch live
black - earth
maye be a few more on there!

the other one, will have things like blue green red, purple, and that is for your front and rear speakers!
will try and remeber which ones are where and such tomorrow!

its a simple case of matching them to the head unit... the power ones will be even and in close to each other... so you can get power easy :)
ill see what i can do.
