no idea thats why i asked the question of weather it can be done. as theres no room in the van so if he ain;t gotta buy a amp and all the wiring kit it'll save time and money if u can just run it off the headunit.

its not for me. its to go in a van with very little space which is why i asked cos there is just about room for sub, but with amp theres no room. so its a halt to that idea

A van with very little space?? What is it? A reliant robin!

You can fit amps under seats, i used to do that. If theres no room to put the amp, where is the sub going?

Also look at taking the sub back and look at active sub's theyve got a built in amp so save space.

amps are only small anyway especially for a little 10 sub. screw it to the box that the sub is in (if its in one)

ITS A LUTON VAN. under seats has tools and such behind seats have tols and crap. only space was used by sub which is why we can;t be arsed to do it now as we need a amp.

As said, Either mount the amp to the sub box.

Or buy an active sub.
