Strikes me a lot of folks come out with the age old questions like what spark plugs are best, what cables should I be using, who can recommend an air filter. Is there anything on the forums which is the definitive guide?
Looking to chnage plugs etc. meself in the new year so would be useful.

Not a bad idea, but people will still ask, plus you can search

Perhaps that's why we have a suggestions forum? ;)

With the search feature, i've never found the answer i'm looking for. NEVER!

I know on some other forums, if you bring back a old thread, everyone moans and says why didn't you start a new thread? So its a lose lose situation.

going to be a lot personal opinion in what parts people think are best though, also whats best for them may not be what you want

I usually find what Im looking for with the search button....

There is? The stickies at the top of each sections cover the majority of frequently asked questions :y:

For example this is from the Engine / Performance section: http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?t=236140

And there are 2 or 3 general service guides that can help you change your plugs :)

all good points, but is there a need for standard/regular bits 'n' bobs section or post. For example I've read several posts that NGK plugs are probably about the best for my VTR but folks still buying gold-plated, rhino horn tipped, quadruple spark spark plugs and sounds like really wasting their cash.
Search function usually fails for me an all.
