yellow vtr around my way and i dont think it had leather.
but there was a one at the last north east meet, but i think that was a custom job

Yellow vtr's are limited editions but they do not come with leather. Really wish they did though.

No im pretty sure none come wiv leather as standard.
all the one's i have ever seen are custom jobs or came out of a 106 gti

Yellow isnt a limited edition colour, they just arent as common as the others (same as gunmetal grey + burnt orange)

Theres quite a few buzzing around up here.

And as for leather as standard...someones been yanking your chain mate! Any leather in a saxo comes from a pug and/or custom made

sorry but yes there was a limited edition yellow mk2 that came standard with leather, i have seen a few of these but also not all yellow vtr's have leather.

I think your right mate, but I'm positive I've seen other zest yellow vtr's that werent an x or y, and have no leather.

ill have a look i remember when i first saw one in a show room they are just a vtr with black leather. nothing special.

According to some guys on here there were no limited edition saxo's what so ever, and 500 VTR's were made in yellow and some open scandal's too :)

I once went to see a "VTR". It turned out to be an Open Scandal with a bodykit :S

On topic, i had a zest yellow VTR.

There aren't many around, but i dont think they're limited edition. Mine had the same horrible seats as any other VTR.

my g/f has a zest yellow vtr on a x reg, failed its mot about 2 months ago nw just sitting there doing nout! heard they were rare so didn't wana get rid, needs hub assembly, rear calipers and a few gaiters, u recon its worth doing??

But on the subject, no Saxos were limited edition, not even the two tones or "lad Motorsport" bodge ups lol

But I have heard that leather trim was a very expensive option, same as vtr air bagged seats, never seen any leathers I could believe we're genuine but seem a few air bagged R interiors

strangest saxo ive seen was one with an amazing quality leather interior and suede rooflining, and an electric - factory looking - sunroof.

Thread still as relevant today as it was in 2006 btw.

"The lad Motorsport bodge ups" aka San Remo Saxos..

Were not limited edition, they were simply tuned by lad Motorsport after production

Hence being tuned by an English company rather then a French company or even Citroen racing themselves ;)

Getting this time warp back on track, leather was offered as a factory option on 2000 onwards VTRs and VTSs but at something like 1500 squid it was rarely seen.

The Mk2 yellow VTR "limited edition" was supplied by various dealers in the North West and Yorkshire from the dealership after having them retrimmed themselves, not at Citroen.
