Soon, im getting my alloy's sprayed black, though after its been done, the tyre's will look faded and 'grey' compared to the rims.
Just wondering, is there something you can use to keep your tyres black ? :ponder:

Sorry couldn't resist...
Apart from that I believe it is called tyre shine. Wouldn't bother at the moment, there is more salt aon the road than actual road..

i use the halfords cheap spray bottle, and it lasts on my tyres for ages, and works a treat in my eyes

i use Armorall Tyre Foam. Used a few other products and this is by far the best in terms of ease to use, getting the tyre really black and keeping it them black.
