Well the biggest fault of the saxo, is that it's french.

but on a serious note, it's got to be leaking sunroof, gearbox.

Sunroof is usually a seal that needs reseating or drainage holes need unblocking. aerial is a little bit of slicone on the underneath.

Beam can be replaced with a reconditioned one for 2-£300 for a complete unit

i havent got a problem with my sunroof yet (touches wood)

Never had any real problems, just had to clean up the Icv to stop an idling issue in 3 years of Saxos. Rattling is always annoying though.

Got to be the stiff gearbox for me and occasionly the dodgy idle. My sunroof is watertight and perfect.

And my back wheels are starting to get a bit of a lean on them *panic*!

27th December 2009, 17:51
Hmmm, my gearbox went after three months of ownership!

Thats been replaced along with a brand new clutch, but a few problems now are;

Exhaust is blowing - Since this morning
Just wont start now, had to bump it from work - Since today, not sure why?
Ariel base leaks but I can deal with that...
Passenger door panel is sticking, have to put all my body weight on it to open the door...
Smashed my rear window dewipering because it was rusted on.
One of my headligts is pointing into the sky, not a big deal to be fair
Tappetts need doing.

That's about all I can think of atm. Thinking about selling up as I am just getting fed up now. :(

Slightly edited for truth, hope you won't mind:y:

With experience, I found out it also applies to middle aged cunts and old farts. It's always good fun.

And, rattles. Apart from that, if you drive sensibly, the car will last and will be cheap to maintain. The only thing I don't like is the smallish oil tank, I'd enjoy not having to change oil so often.
