View Full Version : viewing blue ray disks?

im trying to watch a blue ray disk on my ps3 with my techwood tv, ive got the hdmi cable all plugged in but when i go on the hdmi channel thers only sound and when i go on EXT-1 theres picture and sound but its not HD. anyone know anything about this?

Do ye olde soft reset mate. They sometimes play up. Turn the console off and hold the power button until it beeps a few times. It will reset the settings. Don't worry nothing will be lost.

You probably had DTS (surround sound) selected and not having surround sound your TV probably just shit itself and ignored the sound :P

I have both.
The PS3's graphics are better, runs the game better, Blu-ray, proper Audio output, bluetooth, replaceable hard drive...
XBox Live is more popular amongst my friends thats the only reason why I've got one.
I've had one PS3 and 4 XBox's - nuff said tbh.
