I have A bad sore Throat and A bad cough I have been taking Strepsils but they havent really done me any favours so any other ideas?

Go get some sugar , the kind that looks like this:

Chop a few carrots and toss in a recipient. Then toss about 4 oz of sugar, wait for it to melt. Then have a couple of spoons of it every now and then.

there a medicine in my cupboard called 'the brown mixture' and you only have one small teaspoon of it! but you can feel it going down scraping your throat and the next day your fine! well i were anyway.......

ive had one for 3 weeks now along with a cold ive had hot toddy's strepsils paracetamol still got it

Try natural honey and lemon..

Heat up some water get it very hot but not boiling, melt one large spoon of honey in it, and squeeze half a fresh lemon in and drink:y:
