hi everyone, just got my first saxo, an 51 plate vtr, stainless exhaust fitted already fitted. first things first got to chuck the current filter. any suggestions for a good induction kit?

you wont see any gains from the basic open filter, ideally you want to buy something like a bmc, but even then you may not see gains. One of the best and cheapest methods is replacing your panel filter for an uprated one like a green filter and then put a decent Cold air feed to it.

cheers for the advice,

ive had a look at bmc, the bmc dia is in my budget, looks ok? unfortunately the original airbox has departed and a k & n has basically just been cable tied onto a foot long piece of plastic pipe where the box should of been, and must just get alot of heat and not much air flow, right old bodge. so i figured id rip the lot off and fit something half decent.

need to fit an oil breather on to the remaining pipe as whoever fitted the k & n didnt bother. found a piperx filter, do i need the 13/16/19 mm diameter fitting?

I'd recommend BMC that's what I've got :)
