Well there are 2 different types, one with remote filler and one without.

My saxo is a mk2 and it has no remote filler.

one has hydraulic (power steering fluid) the other is just an electric pump i think? mines a mk1 t reg and has the hydraulic one, im guessin yours would be the same being a V reg...

are you sure any saxo power steering pump will work on any saxo, a Rreg pump on Veg, or a R reg pump on 2001 plate, as i really need to know this also

yes mate tehre both the same bar the resevoir, the mk1s have a pipe up to the slam panel for filling the mk2 doesnt have this just has a bottle neck built in, they will both go on, ive fitted a mk2 pump to a mk1 vts

So its cool to just put a mk1 (r reg) pump on a mk2 (v reg) saxo? As i need to to this also quite soon.

does anything require changing to get it to work or is it just a straight fit? and bobs your uncle
