I'm looking to pick up a VTR soon and will be lookiong for one with some service history hopefully. I was wondering if someone could help me out with when the cam belts need changing so I have a decent idea of if its due one.

every 10 years or 100,000 miles?
which ever comes first?

mines done 58,000 and was thinking of doing mine, 2002 plate.

Every 68,000 miles iirc.
I would get it done around 50,000 though as its not uncommon for them to snap between 50k and 70k.

I think it's 8 years/ 70k miles in the book?
I'd definitely have it done before that. 50k/ 5 years imo, whatever comes first.

Thanks. The car I'm going to look at is on 90 000, I'll take it as due unless its had one recently.

Youre a bit far from manchester though. Is that about what I would expect to pay anywhere? Does anywhere come recomended near me?
