right this gona be quiete tricky to explain..

but the problem doesnt always happen just every now and then my car will make a big thump noise coming from the back of the car think its more towards the righter side of the car behind drivers side seat.. just makes a big thump like somethings being lifted up and slams back down,, but cant seem to find the problem the car wheels seems ok with no play.. but really weird.. just not sure what it is ,, done really wanna be going round a corner and back axle falling off lol.. if its something to be with that ?? its just really a weird thumping noise.. anyone got any ideas of what it might be?

thanks adam19:drink:

rear shocks could be fucked, therefore bottoming out.. if its a high pitched "ting" then its the arb...

seizing brake bias? sticky rear brakes?

none of them would cause a big thump..

sounds like that to me aswell. open your boot and push up and down on the car. if its bouncy then its prob the fault.

hmm, is it sitting equally low? A knackered shock would sag down a bit further than an okay one, jack the car up and look for anything noticeable
