Turn the ignition on, engine off. Hold the right hand button in until the hours start flashing. Press the button repeatedly until it's the right hour, then leave for 5 seconds and the minutes will flash, change these as you changed the hours, then leave for 5 seconds. All done. :)

mm interesting I can't seem to change the clock on my 2001 VTS either. I think maybe the right button has broken but however long i hold it in I can't get the lights to flash. I even got my owners manual out. Its been bugging me since the clocks changed.
Think I might have to take the clocks out and get behind the dash.
Let me know if you cracked it!

You've definitely got the car in the second stage of ignition when you try it Carl?

mmm now you said that maybe I haven't . I'm working in Scotland today so will try that tonight after I flown home. Its off to a main dealer tommorrow for a cam change and major service so I was thinking of casually saying "oh can you set the clock right too!" but i'll check later.
thanks for your reply though Tom

just twist the black thing left for hours and right for minutes no need to mess with any ignition
