Well i gave up for 6 months as of last new years, kinda successful, bar losing my job i would have been fine :D 50% success ;)

So i gave up a day early, as i ran out and don't have a car so couldn't buy any more anyway.

App 02 was only half full? Bet it was still a banging night :D Ministry was pretty full, sets were a bit mediochre though.

That's probably what helped me the most tbh, that for the most part my mates at uni don't smoke, being home over christmas has been fooking hard in that respect.

I'm still suprised that I just stopped when I had about 10 left in a pack lol, I still have them in my uni room actually, just to tempt me that extra bit ;)

I quit for mainly health as it started to catch up with me like getting out of breath from running up stairs etc also for the way it makes everything smell so bad lol

I gave up smoking regularly about 5 years ago. Still have the occasional one, though I get a devistating hangover if I have one when drinking.

The health benifits are just huge. I also have much better skin, don't stink and the cash is handy. I can't imagine how I ever afforded to smoke

I only smoke(d) 2 packs a week maybe, not that much anyway. In 2005 i was smoking one cigarette a day for ages before i finally gave up, i reckon that probably is no worse for health than working in london or any town compared to the countryside lol

But still yeah, after a year of giving up i felt much better, takes a few months for the lungs to start feeling a bit more normal.

Doesn't cost much really, 25g of GV, filters and rizla last a week easily, £7 or so i think. Make packed lunch instead of buying shop sandwiches for 2 days and you've saved that much already!!!

If you want to quit purely for money and hoes you will find it very difficult man.
I quit cos i wanted to as it stunk and i was fed up of delivering to people that were attached to bottles on oxygen in their own homes...

I got told at the start of the night it was a joke to get in, but it was only 5-6000 people there by a few people who ended up leaving there and coming to the gallery

wish i had your will power mate i smoked for 4yrs got ill (couldnt eat or drink never mind smoke) so packed in lasted 4 yrs! but then got with this bird and at the time smoked copious amounts of weed but had wanted to cut down or stop, she hated weed so tried to pack it up and managed it but after a week i started smoking again now im on them worse than before and smoking weed arrrrrgh but im smoking 1 max a day so not too bad just wish could last the day without cigs
