need help

had my1.1 saxo a while now got head gasket done about 6months ago , now got white smokefrom exhaust and itoverheats after about 2minutes running would thehead gasket go again so quick .??? any 1 would appreciate thanks .

yh i got it done when had it done lasttime. could it not be anything else lol just dont want the hassle

any major loss of power?the smoke smell of fuel? plenty of water ? airlock in your cooling system would cause an over heat and wen ur engine is baking u sometimes get white smoke out the exhaust

yh big time major loss but ppl told me was clutch. and dont know about the smell will have to check lata. filled up with water and when was started took water cap off to see if was ok and it jus sucked the water down

id bleed your radiator mate thers a how to kicking around here somewhere check ur water to see if the gaket has failed between a water and oil jacket if to you should see like basically a chocolate milkshake lol if not your gasket could still have failed but elsewhere,if i was you id bleed your cooling system and flush your radiator,if it carries on overheating take your thermostat out and run it , check your fan is still kicking in, if all this is ok you could have a major fuel issue,my mate sheared a valve on his civic and it wasnt burning fuel in cylinder one and it was billowing white smoke. . . hope this helps

1 more thing can you put vtr engine in 1.1 saxo n if yeh what will need to change

you sure can mate, u will need a vtr engine which i have a vtr loom which i have a vtr ecy which i have and some one to fit it which i have lol wer bouts in country are you

you know dartford bridge at all . what that mean about that smoke then with no thermostat , and how much you want for them

yeh i live next to bluewater shopping centre . it a 97 r reg not sure what u mean boutlights lol dont knowmuch bout the motor to be honest mate i mean i liked it cos it was fastfor a 1.1 well off the lights neway lol it an sx if that makes a difference
