Im Thinking of selling my Saxo soon, and getting a 406 Coupe V6. Just thought i would jot down some plus points.
Plus heres a picture to show what it looks like:
http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii247/scott-jarvis/406coupeun.jpg
1. I know there getting on a bit but there relatively well priced now
2. For a V6 the insurance is pretty good
3. Leather seats, heated seats, air con, climate control, electric seat, ABS, headlamp washers, windows mirrors sunroof all electric, Sport seats, Brembos all around, cruise control, loads of other small things.
4. Pininferina Styling
5. 210 bhp, plus V6 noise :y:
Main reasons are that i think they look pretty sweet, i know it wont be a speed machine, but as i dont speed around no were near as much as i used to, i want something i can just cruise around in, in comfert and that is going to be more relaxing to drive.
To be honest its the only other car out there i like, and is within my price range, and i think its a bit more of a mature choice.
And obviously Modify it a little, heres One i realy like, think you will agree it looks pretty nice.

Was hoping that someone has had experiance of these cars, and could tell me what there really like ?????

Now I would have liked that. Though it was funny to push the sport button on the auto

Very pretty cars, sad to believe Peugeot didn't produce more cars that looked this good after the 406 coupe.
Not the sharpest or the quickest drivers cars, but the V6 is smooth and they make decent, good-looking cruisers.

I really like these and looked at one in the same garage I bought the saxo.
Def. has to be the v6 as the 2.0's performance doesnt match the image, I reckon you should go for it if you can find one in good nick with decent mileage, because I definately would.

Never really crossed my mind, dont really like clios to much, i do like the feel of a small car, but just getting annoyed with it being a little cramped and when i have mates in the saxo it feels so small and even more cramped.

great cars, strong v6 engines, cheap as chips too due to the fuel consumption

King how would you know at being 17?
And not everyone has the same opinion on cars so you can't just take one mans opinion on a motor before making an assumption of your own
If I was you I would test drive a 406 Coupe V6 before dedicating yourself to buying one :y:

my dad had one on a R plate when it was new, always regrets selling it to his friend
This is my experience of it, he asked for experiences

the 2.2 hdi is a good buy also, however they go for a LOT more than the v6

Nah id rather have a V6 nice sound and nice looks go well together, economicly speaking id be better off with a diesel, but who thinks about that when they buy a car, lol

true, plus the cost difference between a v6 and a diesel will buy you a lot of petrol!
