I've never been into car detailing, but i got my vtr in november.
I want to get the car looking good and keep it that way so keeping it clean will obviously be a key to this.
I've not had a chance to seal my paintwork before all this crap weather and didn't realise the importance of this until i read saxp-p.
Just wondering what sort of damage it will cause as i know many people just run through a car wash through out the entire year and doesn't seem to hurt it too much.

Well if you run your car through a car wash on a weekly basis your paintwork will be a state and to have a mirror shine then your looking at either a very pricey correction or even a re-spray.

To keep on top of your paintwork i recommend you have a look through some of the guides on here and have a look at spending a fair bit of $$ for some good products.
