The pad on the shoe might have come off in the drum like it did to me, or as said could be cold weather maybe tap the drum with a hammer?

You didnt tell us wether it is rotating or not. If it is the brake shoes binding then turn the wheel slowly while pulling it out.
It could also be a 'flared end' on the axle stud, meaning that the wheel bearing cant come off. It needs filing down.

Tried rocking it back and fore, did work but since its been parked up in my garage for 2 weeks its locked again.
Already had a go with the hammer with no joy :S

undo all the nuts so they are loose jack the back end up then try to hit the inside of the wheel or tyre to see if it budges

this happened to my 1.1 after it was left standing for a few week. it will most probs be that the pads have bound to the drums, as previously said.

usually when this happens simply reversing for a couple of metres sorts it out.

Do you mean wheel studs when you say all the nuts? Why loosen them if you are going to twat the wheel? All you do is undo the big centre nut then twat wheel.

Had the same problem yesterday... tried the reverse trick, didn't work, managed
to get the car back on the drive.... Is the next thing to twat the wheel with a hammer or does anything else work?

Never Ever ever ever ever leave the hanbrake on for a long period of time!! just leave it in gear.
Whip the wheel off give it a tap with a copper hammer, and see if it turns by hand freely. if not remove the drum and see whats what. :y:
