right have been having trouble with my f4 fuse and i put another fuse in and it blew again not sure why.. but instead of putting a 10amp fuse in i put in a 20a fuse in and when i done that i must of blown something else and i had no ignition and car wouldnt start wouldnt evan turn over... have looked at all wires in dash they seem ok... so this morning went to car to have another look and found a big fuse blown ??? but im not sure if this fuse is got anything to do with my ignition ?? heres the pic... its located near the engine fuse box above the brake servo on a saxo vts what you lot think ?? thanks

That will be the cause of the car not starting, its a fusible link and obviously will require replacing. However you still have the problem of the F4 fuse blowing, and you have learnt now not to over-rate a fuse that is designed only for 10A by placing a 20A fuse in its place. Iam afraid you will have to eliminate each circuit on that fuse point individually as there happens to be a lot of components on that circuit. On that particular fuse you have:-
1) Map reading light.
2) Lights on buzzer.
3) No charge warning light.
4) Electric mirrors and windows (If fitted).
5) Radio.
6) Direction indicators.
If you can, disconnect all these systems and then begin to re-connect them back on one at a time, eventually and with a bit of luck you will isolate the problem. Oh and good luck!!!!!!!!

thanks mate yeah. only be sticking in the right amp lol... i havent got a reading light only an interior light :S... with a leaking sunroof could of got wet..... and my stereo is in losely as i took it out the other day to look for the radio wire... but wasnt there right one.. maybe that was causing it ... thanks pal:p
