IN maplins which is where i bought mine from they had some twin fan coolers for 10 quid. Personally i think the maplins fans do the job fine. All you do is cut the connector block of strip back a few mm then put the 2 black wires into the ground on the amp and the two red into the remote. This is how ive done mine and it runs fine.

alright mate best bet with voltage gauge is hook the + up to the amps + then earth it where ever you want.
the fans you 1st posted up im pretty sure are the 3 wires are + - and temp wire you wont need the temp wire for car audio
the best way to wire up the fans would be relay hooked up to you amps + and remote wire that way thay will only turn on when the amp is turned on

heres how you would wire the relay up to the fan/s and amp.
you could also wire the voltage gauge up to the relay to so when you turn the headunit off that would go off to but it might not be a 100% true reading as some relays give a voltage drop. ive got my gauges on a switch so i can see what voltage im getting when headunit is off

ok fans bought wireing understood just want to know what inline fuse to use and what relay would a 10 amp 12v relay do :http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=37518 and what sort of inline fuse just some thing like this :http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/IN-LINE-TYPE-BLADE-FUSE-HOLDER-UP-TO-30-AMPS-QTY-10_W0QQitemZ200342395646QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Cars _Parts_Vehicles_Terminals_Cabling_ET?hash=item2ea5 565afe

its alright mate 10 amp relay will be fine id put a 5amp fuse inline not to sure on the relays on the link the relays i normaly use are 4/5 pin ones that you can pick up from revs/halfords for a cuple quid

Anything below 50-70 CFM should be fine to run power from remote lead and earth to amps but to do it properly yes you should use a relay like Liam has shown
** But as fans have motors and coils if you really wanted to be picky then a diode should be used to surpress feedback and interferance*** :)
this is what I might use next for amp cooling fans as im concerned about them being upside down and heat rises... might fit an adjuster too though as they are fairly noisey at full chat

and remember that if you are using 2 fans you will need 1 pulling in air and the other blowing out the hot air as if you just have 2 fan blowing in air they will just be pushing round worm air.
