Mot quiery

My mot is due shortly and im booked into powerflow for a turbo back 2.5' exhaust. Now as i work as a car salesman for ford and have a close relationship with the mechanics can i have my mot done without a cat or do i have to have one? I mean we sometimes use a back street garage to test our cars and he helps us out by doing an mot but passing it very very leaniently...can i have an mot cetificate printed without the lambada reading and emessions or does it require this for a pass certificate?

As i don't really want to be having my couple of hundred straight exhuast fitted next week when ill have to fit it with a cat again...

It requires emissions. But what they normally do if you know them is test another cars emissions for your test.

ussually without the cat the emisons will be too high, you could get the garage to do the emmisoins test on another car, (you get my drift) my garage has done it for me before..

emissions sheet NEEDS to be done, as the emissions tester is one computer and the certificate printer is another, they will send data to each one to fill in certain parts of paper work...

but it only needs to be A car...not your car ;)
