PS3 Games..

Any one noticed that the majority of new ps3 games are starting to look about the same quality as ps2 games?

As in crappy graphics, and boring story lines?

If i wanted to play ps2 games.. i would dig my ps2 out!

or is it just me?

(and for the record, i dont want xbox 360 owners to slate the ps3, I LOVE my ps3, just alot of games lately have been pretty lame)

might be to do with you have now got used to the graphics of the PS3 and are now graving for better resolutions of grpahics?

its just theres games like fallout 3, Gta 4, COD:Mw2 (Big game titles) That have amazing graphics

Then theres games like Borderlands, Wet, and some others that arent so good

like i said, i love my ps3, but the game designers seem to be producing some rubbish lately :(

Games that are console exclusive tend to have the best graphics out there

EG GOW for 360 n Motor Storm for PS3

dunno about many other games tbh... dont bother wasting my money, just play GOW n COD online on the 360

Alot of PS3 games out now are shite.

Infamous.
Operation Flashpoint.
Borderlands.

Stay with AC2, All CoD's, Fifa 09/10, FighNightRound4 etc

Have you actually played any PS2 games lately?

If you did I think you'd change your mind.

I still have Max Payne, Manhunt and GT4 PS2 games and trust me the graphics on all the games you mentioned on the PS3 far are better.

I'd admit that there isn't a great flux of great games but it doesn't mean that the graphics on the ones that are out are not great.

I thought Wet was pretty good all round.

The problem PS3 owners will have is that we won't get the most out of games that are not Sony exclusive. The PS3 blu ray discs can hold far more information than the 360 discs afaik. So if a developer will bring out titles for different formats then it will have to base the game on how much data/info can go on the different formats discs.

There was a big game (maybe GTAIV) that had to be reduced to fit on a 360 disc iirc.

i tell you what...take i dont know CoD MW2 and dig out your PS2 and play COD2 im sure you will notice the difference.

*you have probably just become a custom to the new graphics...therefore not noticing the changes :)
